Our Story
At Veteran Roofing Solutions, we proudly stand as a veteran-owned and family-operated company built on the values of integrity, service, and excellence.
Our founder, David, served in the United States Air Force for seven years as a Structural Engineer. During his time at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas, he completed intensive training in roofing installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair. David was entrusted with the critical responsibility of repairing and replacing roofs on military bases—an experience that instilled in him a deep respect for precision, discipline, and doing the job right the first time.
Years later, when searching for a roofing contractor for his own home, David experienced firsthand the frustration of finding quality workmanship and trustworthy service at a fair price. That experience became the driving force behind Veteran Roofing Solutions—a company founded with a mission to deliver honest, high-quality roofing services to local residential and commercial clients. Our goal is simple: to provide the level of craftsmanship and care that every homeowner deserves.
What truly sets us apart is that Veteran Roofing Solutions is also a family business. David and his wife, Melanie, work hand in hand to ensure every customer's experience is seamless from start to finish. Melanie brings her background as a Program Manager at the University of Connecticut and as a Counselor for families affected by domestic violence, combining compassion, organization, and dedication to customer satisfaction. Her warmth and attention to detail help create a company culture centered on trust and communication.
Melanie also brings her creative eye and passion for photography to the company, operating our drone services to capture detailed before-and-after photos. These visuals not only help support insurance claims but also allow our customers to see the quality and progress of their roof work every step of the way—because we believe transparency builds confidence.
Together, David and Melanie have built Veteran Roofing Solutions with one mission in mind: to serve our community with the same integrity and commitment that guided David's service to our country.
